Spears addressed a judge of the Supreme Court of Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon, detailing different ways in which the Conservatory controlled their lives to prevent an IUD from being removed. “I genuinely believe that the conservatory system is abusive. I do not feel I can live whole lives, Spears stressed.
‘For this time, Wednesday evening, after what we’ve seen today, everyone should support Britney,’ tweeted Timberlake. No matter how long ago, what happened to her doesn’t matter how good and evil our past was. No woman should confine herself to choosing her own body.
None of you should ever be detained against your will, or you should ever ask for permission to access everything for which you have worked. Jess and I send our love and total support to Britney during this time. We hope the courts and her family will put this right and give her a living, but she wants to live.”

The songwriter also addressed the health restrictions facing Spears, who wrote: “Fuck anyone who thinks they have the power to control their reproductive health, as an institution or person.”
