For the first time since the shocking death of the Growing Pains actress. Carter speaks out in an exclusive interview with Entertainment Tonight.
Alan collapsed at the Pickwick Gardens ice skating rink in Burbank, California, on December 13. While Carter and his father were playing hockey there. He was taken to the hospital. Where he later died.
Carter tells ET special correspondent Keltie Knight that when the ambulance arrived. The paramedics had stabilised his father and everything appeared to be fine. Carter initially believed his father would survive once they arrived at the hospital.
His Words
“He was able to give him a hug and tell him, ‘I love you,’ and that was the last time he saw him,” he says further.
Carter couldn’t stop gushing about his father, who he described as “a wonderful man” and “a wonderful father figure.”
“He was like the perfect dad,” he recalls of his father.
Alan is survived by his wife, Tanya, and two older sons, Brennan and Robin, from his previous marriage to Gloria Loring. Alan is also survived by Carter.
